These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Paystub Maker: Pay Stub & Docs mobile application (the "App"), operated by App Harbour ApS ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
License and Apple standard EULA
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, subject to these Terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. Where these Terms conflict with the Apple standard EULA, the Apple standard EULA governs for matters it addresses.
What the App does
The App helps you create US pay stubs and small business documents (purchase orders, packing slips, delivery notes, and proof-of-income letters) and produce PDF exports. It runs on your device and is intended for legitimate record-keeping by small employers, contractors, and self-employed people.
Estimates, not tax, legal, or accounting advice
The withholding and payroll figures produced by the App are estimates. They are calculated from the published 2026 IRS Publication 15-T (federal income tax), FICA rules (Social Security at 6.2% up to the wage base and Medicare at 1.45% plus the 0.9% additional surtax), and state tables for all 50 states plus DC. Tax rules change and individual situations vary.
These estimates are provided for your convenience and are not tax, legal, or accounting advice. You are responsible for verifying every figure against your official payroll system and applicable law, and for consulting a qualified professional where appropriate. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and lawful use of the documents you create.
Free use and Premium
You can build and preview unlimited documents at no cost, and your first PDF export is free. After your first export, exporting requires Premium. Premium can be unlocked through any of the following:
- Lifetime: a one-time, non-renewing purchase of $24.99.
- Annual subscription: $19.99 per year with a 3-day free trial, then auto-renewing yearly.
- Weekly subscription: $3.99 per week with a 3-day free trial, then auto-renewing weekly.
Subscription terms
- Free trial: the weekly and annual subscriptions include a 3-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription converts to a paid subscription automatically. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Billing: payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase or when the free trial ends.
- Cancellation: you can cancel any time in your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Lifetime purchase terms
The Lifetime unlock is a single, one-time, non-renewing purchase. It does not auto-renew and there is nothing to cancel. It unlocks PDF export on devices signed in with the Apple ID used for the purchase.
Managing subscriptions
You can view, manage, or cancel your subscriptions at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039.
Restore purchases
If you reinstall the App or move to a new device, use the Restore Purchases option inside the App to restore a purchase you already own. You must be signed in with the Apple ID used for the original purchase.
Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple and refunds are handled according to Apple's App Store policies. Refund requests can be made through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the App only for lawful, legitimate record-keeping. You agree not to use the App to create false, fraudulent, or misleading documents, or for any unlawful purpose. You also agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, or attempt to interfere with its operation.
Intellectual property
The App and its content, features, and design are owned by App Harbour ApS and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The documents you create from your own data belong to you.
Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any figure it produces will be accurate or suitable for your situation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, App Harbour ApS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App or any documents created with it.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, except where the Apple standard EULA or mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
