Getting a compliant photo
- No face found: use a sharp, well-lit photo taken straight on, with one person in frame.
- Head size fails: step closer or further so your head fills the required share of the frame; the hint on each check tells you which direction.
- Background fails: stand in front of a plain, light wall, or turn on background replacement and pick the colour your document requires.
- Lighting fails: face a window or light source straight on; avoid side light, hard shadows and direct flash.
- Resolution warning: import the original photo rather than a screenshot or a compressed copy.
Subscriptions and purchases
- Weekly subscription: $3.99 per week after a 3-day free trial. Auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Annual subscription: $12.99 per year. Auto-renews unless cancelled.
- Lifetime unlock: $14.99 once. Not a subscription; never renews.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings: Apple's guide.
- Restore purchases from the app's paywall or settings after reinstalling or changing device.
- Refunds are handled by Apple: request a refund.
