How it works

  1. Pick your country and document (passport, visa, ID and more).
  2. Take a photo with the live guide, or import one from your library.
  3. Read the compliance meter: every check shows pass, warning or fail with a plain-language fix.
  4. Let the app crop to the official size and replace the background if your document needs it.
  5. Export the digital file or the 4x6 print sheet.

Note on Germany: since May 2025 Germany only accepts photos taken at certified studios for German passports and ID cards, so the app deliberately offers no German passport preset. German residents can still use it for other countries' visa and passport photos.

FAQ

Will my photo definitely be accepted?

The app checks your photo against the published official specifications, which is the same standard examiners use. Acceptance is always the authority's decision, so the meter is an aid, not a guarantee. The check being free means you never pay for a photo you have not seen pass.

Do my photos get uploaded?

No. Everything runs on your iPhone using Apple's Vision framework. The app works in airplane mode.

How do I print the photo sheet?

Save the 4x6 in (10x15 cm) sheet to your photo library and print it at any pharmacy, supermarket photo kiosk or home printer. Cut along the guides.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, select the app and cancel. See Apple's guide.
