1. Agreement
By downloading or using Image to Text: Photo OCR Scan (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to Apple's standard end-user license agreement ("EULA"), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. The App is published by App Harbour ApS, a Danish company.
2. Licensed use
You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and run the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, for personal or internal business use, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service.
3. What the App does
The App uses Apple's on-device Vision framework to extract text from photos you capture or pick. All processing happens on your iPhone; no images or extracted text are sent to us or to any third party. The accuracy of the recognition depends on the source image — we make no guarantee that every photo will produce perfect text.
4. Subscriptions
This app offers a weekly subscription with a 3-day free trial, and an annual subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings. Restore purchases from the app settings.
Billing. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple under your Apple ID. Pricing is shown inside the App in your local currency at the time of purchase.
Auto-renewal. Both the weekly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple ID is charged within 24 hours before the current period ends.
Free trial. The weekly subscription includes a 3-day free trial for new subscribers. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the first weekly payment is charged automatically.
Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Image to Text → Cancel Subscription. Apple's guide: support.apple.com/HT202039. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds.
Refunds. Refunds are issued by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Price changes. If we change the subscription price, Apple will notify you and ask you to consent to the new price before any further renewal.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use the App to recognise text from material you don't have the right to copy. Don't reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code. Don't use the App in any way that violates applicable law.
6. Privacy
The App does not collect, transmit, or store your photos, the extracted text, or any personal data. See the Privacy Policy for the full statement.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that recognition will be accurate, that the App will be uninterrupted, or that it will be fit for any particular purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, App Harbour ApS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be flagged in the App's release notes. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
