Troubleshooting

The app says "No text was found in this image"

Apple's Vision engine looks for text that's reasonably in focus and large enough on screen. Try one of these:

Camera access was denied

Open Settings → Image to Text → Camera and turn it on. The same applies to Photos for library scanning.

Extracted text has typos

Vision's accuracy depends on the source image. Higher-resolution, well-lit, in-focus photos give the best results. Handwriting accuracy varies — clearer handwriting recognises better.

Subscription help

Manage or cancel your subscription

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, not by us. To manage:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Choose Image to Text
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

Free trial — when do I get charged?

The weekly subscription includes a 3-day free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial, you will be charged the weekly rate. Cancel any time from the Subscriptions screen above.

Restore purchases on a new device

Open the app, go to the paywall (Upgrade to Premium), and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID that originally purchased the subscription.

Refunds

Refunds are issued by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Privacy & data

The app processes images entirely on your iPhone using Apple's Vision framework. We do not collect, store, or transmit your photos, the extracted text, or any analytics. Full details on our Privacy Policy page.
