Frequently asked questions

Does the app upload my photos anywhere?

No. All recognition runs locally on your iPhone via Apple's Vision framework. Your images stay on the device.

Which languages are supported?

Vision automatically chooses a recognition model based on your device language and recognises 18+ scripts including Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.

Does it work offline?

Yes. There is no network requirement — the app works on airplane mode.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open the iOS Settings app → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Image to Text → Cancel. See Apple's guide.

How accurate is the text recognition?

Apple Vision's "accurate" mode handles printed text very reliably. Handwriting accuracy depends on legibility and the language — clearer is better.
