Questions, feedback or trouble with Tinnitus Masker: Sound Therapy? Email info@appharbour.com and we will get back to you.

Tinnitus Masker provides relief sounds and education, not medical treatment, diagnosis or a cure. If your tinnitus is sudden, one-sided, pulsing, or comes with hearing loss, dizziness or pain, please see an audiologist or doctor. Sudden or one-sided tinnitus can need prompt medical attention.

Getting started

Open the Match tab, tap Play tone, and move the sweep slider until the tone matches the pitch of your tinnitus. Fine-tune it by single hertz, then tap Pin as my tinnitus pitch. On the Sounds tab you can play soundscapes, turn on notched therapy at your matched pitch, set a master volume and start a sleep timer.

Troubleshooting

No sound? Check your device is not muted or in silent mode, raise the master volume on the Sounds tab, and make sure another app is not holding audio. The app plays through your selected output, including Bluetooth, hearing aids and AirPlay.

Sound stopped when I unplugged headphones? This is deliberate, so audio is not suddenly sent to the speaker. Start a soundscape again to resume.

Playback in the background? Sound keeps playing when the screen locks. Use the sleep timer to fade it out automatically.

Restore a purchase? Open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases, or reinstall and restore. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID.

Subscriptions and lifetime

The free tier includes the frequency matcher, three soundscapes and the sleep timer. Premium unlocks notched therapy, the full mixer, the course and relief-log trends, as a one-time lifetime purchase or a subscription (weekly with a 3-day free trial, or annual). Manage or cancel subscriptions any time in your Apple ID subscription settings.

Privacy

The app collects no data. Everything, including your matched pitch and relief log, stays on your device. See our Privacy Policy.
