The short version
We collect no data. Everything you enter in SOAP Notes: Massage Charting, including client names, contact details, intake answers, session notes, body chart marks and signatures, is stored only on your device. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else by the app.
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporting services and no servers of our own. We have no way to see, access or recover the information you store in the app.
Where your data lives
- All records are stored in the app's private storage on your iPhone or iPad.
- If you use iCloud device backup or local computer backups, your records are included in those backups under Apple's standard mechanisms, controlled entirely by your device settings.
- PDF exports you create are shared only where you choose to send them (Mail, Files, AirDrop and similar). Sharing is always initiated by you.
Health-related information
The app is a record-keeping tool for licensed professionals. Any health information you record about your clients stays under your control on your device. Because it never reaches us, no third party processes your clients' health information through this app. You remain responsible for meeting the record-keeping and confidentiality obligations that apply to your practice.
Face ID
If you enable the app lock, authentication is performed by iOS on your device. The app only receives a yes or no answer and never sees biometric data.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive your name, payment details or address. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple handles purchase data.
Children
The app is intended for professional use by adults and is not directed at children.
Changes
If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy label before the change takes effect.
