❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How does the free trial work?
A: New subscribers to the Weekly plan get a 3-day free trial. During the trial, you have full access to all Pro features including unlimited pages and no watermarks. After 3 days, you can choose to subscribe or continue with the free tier (limited to 3 pages per PDF with watermark).
Q: What happens to my data?
A: All your documents are stored locally on your iPhone. We never upload anything to our servers. Your documents are 100% private and stay on your device.
Q: Can I use the app offline?
A: Yes! Photos to PDF works completely offline. You don't need an internet connection to scan, edit, or create PDFs.
Q: How do I cancel my subscription?
A: Open iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Photos to PDF → Cancel Subscription. You can also manage subscriptions directly from the app's Settings tab.
Q: Will I lose my documents if I cancel?
A: No! All your documents remain on your device. You can still view and access them. However, you'll be limited to the free tier restrictions (3 pages per PDF with watermark).
Q: Can I restore my purchase on a new device?
A: Yes! Go to Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases. Your subscription will be restored using your Apple ID.
Q: How do I get a refund?
A: Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support directly.
Q: What file formats are supported?
A: The app exports standard PDF files that can be opened on any device with a PDF reader. You can import photos in JPEG, PNG, and HEIC formats.
Q: Is there a page limit?
A: Free tier: 3 pages per PDF with watermark. Pro subscription: Unlimited pages, no watermark!
Q: Does the app work on iPad?
A: Yes! Photos to PDF has a responsive design that adapts beautifully to iPad screens with optimized layouts.
Q: What happens if I uninstall the app?
A: Uninstalling the app permanently removes all documents stored locally on your device. Make sure to export important PDFs to the Files app or another location before uninstalling. Your subscription status is tied to your Apple ID and will remain active even after uninstalling.
🛠️ Troubleshooting
Camera not working?
Solution: Go to iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera → Enable for Photos to PDF. If already enabled, try restarting the app.
App crashes or freezes?
Solution:
- Force close the app (swipe up from app switcher)
- Restart your iPhone
- Check for app updates in the App Store
- If the issue persists, contact support with details
PDF won't export?
Solution:
- Make sure you have at least 1 page captured
- Check if you have storage space on your device
- Try a shorter filename (avoid special characters)
- Restart the app and try again
Subscription not activating?
Solution:
- Check your internet connection
- Go to Settings → Restore Purchases
- Sign out and back into your Apple ID
- Contact support if issue continues
Photos look blurry?
Solution:
- Hold your phone steady when capturing
- Ensure good lighting
- Clean your camera lens
- Use "High" compression in Settings for better quality
