FAQ
Will the formatting really stay?
Yes for most documents. Headings, bullets, numbered lists, tables, and image placement come through cleanly. Heavily designed PDFs (magazines, complex multi-column layouts) get the best result on simple structured content.
Does the OCR work on handwriting?
Printed text on a scanned page works well. Handwritten notes are best-effort — recent improvements help legible cursive but no OCR is perfect with handwriting.
What happens to my files?
Files are uploaded over an encrypted connection to our conversion service, processed for the conversion only, and deleted from the server immediately afterwards. We don't store, index, or train on your documents. See the Privacy Policy for the full details.
Does this work without internet?
No — conversion requires a network connection. The app preview, settings, and share-sheet integration work offline.
