Privacy Policy

        Short version: MultiDocX processes your documents to
        translate them. We don't keep them, we don't read them, and we don't
        sell anything about them.
    

What MultiDocX does

MultiDocX translates PDF, Word (DOCX), Excel (XLSX), and PowerPoint (PPTX) files while preserving their original layout. To do that we have to read the file's text, send it to a translation engine, and write a translated copy back.

What we process

The document you upload. We extract the text, send it to our translation engine, receive the translated text, and write it back into a copy of your file. The original is not modified.
Translation choices. The source and target languages you pick, and any options you set.
Purchase status. Whether you have an active page-pack balance or subscription. This is handled by Apple through StoreKit on your device; Apple handles all payment details and we never see your card or Apple ID.

What we keep

Originals: not retained. Your uploaded files are deleted from our processing servers as soon as the translation is complete (within minutes), or sooner if you delete them yourself.
Translated copies: kept on your device. Your translation history and translated files stay on your device so you can re-open them. They are not stored on our servers. You can delete them at any time from within the app.
Document contents: never used to train models. We do not use your documents for machine-learning training. They are not shared with third parties for any purpose other than the translation itself.

Who sees your documents

Translation requests are processed by reputable third-party translation providers (for example, machine-translation APIs). These providers handle only the text we send them, under their own privacy commitments, and do not retain it. They do not receive anything that identifies you.

No account, no personal data

MultiDocX does not require an account. We do not ask for your name, email, or any other personal information, and we do not build a profile of you. Your page balance and translation history live on your device, not on our servers.

Analytics

The app does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics that profile you. We may record anonymous, aggregate usage (for example, how many translations happen per language pair) so we know which languages to improve, but nothing tied to you or your documents.

Your rights (GDPR & equivalents)

Because we do not hold an account or personal data about you, there is little for us to export or delete. Your documents and history live on your device and are removed when you delete them or uninstall the app. If you have any question about your data, email info@appharbour.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

MultiDocX is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and post the new version at this URL.
