Last updated: 11 July 2026

By using MileVault you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA): apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

What MileVault is

MileVault is a personal mileage log. It records your drives and estimates a tax deduction using the published IRS (US) or HMRC (UK) mileage rates. MileVault does not file taxes and does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice. You are responsible for confirming the correct rate and the accuracy of your records for your own tax filing. MileVault is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the IRS or HMRC.

Free tier

MileVault is free to use with the following limits:

Premium

Premium unlocks unlimited automatic drive detection, PDF and CSV report export, multiple vehicles, and work-hours auto-classification. Premium is available as:

Subscription terms

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the period. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings: support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039. The Lifetime purchase is a one-time payment and does not renew.

No warranty

MileVault is provided "as is". Mileage detection depends on your device's sensors and location availability and may not capture every drive. Always review your log before relying on it for a tax filing.
