GIF Maker is built to keep your media private. We designed it so your videos and photos never leave your device.

Data we collect

None. GIF Maker does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. It has no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs, and no backend servers.

Your media

The videos and photos you choose are read on your device only, used to create your GIF, and never uploaded. Finished GIFs are saved to your photo library only when you choose to save them.

Permissions

GIF Maker uses the system photo picker to let you choose media, which does not require photo-library access. When you save a GIF, iOS asks for add-only permission to write it to your library. No other permissions are requested.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple's processing is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Children

GIF Maker does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
