Debt Payoff Planner: Track it

Need help?
Email us at info@appharbour.com — we read every message and usually reply within a working day.

Quick start

  1. Add your debts. Tap the + button on the home screen. Enter each debt's name, balance, interest rate, and minimum payment.
  2. Pick a strategy. Snowball (smallest balance first — fast wins) or Avalanche (highest interest rate first — least interest paid). You can switch any time without losing progress.
  3. See your debt-free date. The app instantly calculates when you'll be done, and how much interest you'll pay along the way.
  4. Log payments as you go. Each payment moves your debt-free date closer. Set up a Home Screen widget to keep that date in sight.

FAQ

My debt-free date seems wrong

Double-check each debt's interest rate (entered as an annual percentage, e.g. 19.9 for 19.9% APR, not 0.199) and minimum payment. If the minimum payment is less than the monthly interest, the debt never decreases — the app will show "never" until you increase the minimum.

How do I record a payment?

Tap any debt → "Log Payment". The amount pre-fills to the minimum but you can edit it. Extra payments accelerate your payoff date — the simulator screen shows by how much.

How do I change my currency?

Settings → Currency. The app supports 50+ ISO 4217 currencies. The currency you pick at first launch applies to all debts; you can change it later and the symbol updates everywhere.

I paid off a debt — what now?

The app celebrates and re-runs the calculation. If you're using the snowball strategy, the money you were paying on the cleared debt automatically rolls into the next one (this is what makes the method work). Hit "View Strategy" to see the updated order.

Can I edit a debt after adding it?

Yes. Tap the debt in the list and tap "Edit". You can change name, balance, interest rate, minimum payment, and due day. Your payment history stays.

Subscription & billing

What's free vs premium?

Free: track up to 2 debts, see your debt-free date, log payments. Premium unlocks unlimited debts, the avalanche strategy, the extra-payment simulator, the widget, and the milestone celebrations.

How do I cancel my subscription?

iOS handles all subscription management. Open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad, tap Debt Payoff Planner, and choose Cancel. Or use Apple's direct link: support.apple.com/HT202039.

I had a problem with my subscription

Most subscription issues (charges, refunds, restored purchases) need to go through Apple — we don't have access to your billing. Apple's refund page: reportaproblem.apple.com. After you've contacted Apple, email us at info@appharbour.com if you'd like us to follow up on the app side.

Enjoying the app?

A quick App Store review really helps a small studio like ours. If something isn't working, please email us first — we'd rather fix it than read a one-star review.
