Getting good recordings
- Place the iPhone on the nightstand within about an arm's length, microphone pointing toward you.
- Charge overnight. Recording all night on battery alone drains it noticeably.
- Keep the phone out from under pillows or blankets; a muffled microphone means missed events.
- White-noise machines and fans are usually fine; extremely loud ones can mask quiet snoring.
Troubleshooting
- No events detected: confirm microphone permission in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone, and that the phone was close enough. Light sleepers genuinely may not snore; check the timeline for quiet nights.
- Recording stopped overnight: a phone call or another audio app can interrupt the session; the app resumes automatically after interruptions. Also ensure Low Power Mode did not shut the app down mid-night.
- Purchases not showing: open Settings inside the app and tap the paywall, then "Restore Purchases" with the same Apple ID used to buy.
- Clips missing for old nights: free accounts play the 3 loudest clips per night; Premium unlocks the rest. Clips are stored on your device only and are removed if you delete the app.
Subscriptions and purchases
The app offers a weekly subscription ($3.99, 3-day free trial), an annual subscription ($19.99), and a one-time Lifetime unlock ($29.99, not a subscription).
Privacy in one line
Your audio never leaves your iPhone. No account, no cloud, no analytics, no ads. Details in the Privacy Policy.
