Noise Log is designed to be private by default. Your log is yours and stays on your device.
None. Noise Log does not collect, transmit or sell any personal data. There is no account and no login. We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs, and there is no backend server that receives your information.
Everything you enter stays on your device: incidents (time, category, sound levels, impact tags, notes, source and location you type), any photo, audio or video attachments you choose to add, your escalation actions, and your settings (including the name and address you optionally provide for reports and letters). You can delete any incident or attachment at any time, and removing the app removes this data.
If you allow microphone access, Noise Log uses it only while the logging screen is open, to estimate the sound level and, if you explicitly start one, to record a short audio clip. Recording runs only in the foreground with a visible indicator. There is no background or automatic recording. Audio is stored on your device and is never uploaded.
If you attach a photo or video, it is copied into the app's private storage on your device and is not shared anywhere.
In-app purchases are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details. Apple processes transactions under its own privacy policy.
When you choose to export a PDF, CSV or letter and share it, that content leaves your device only through the share destination you pick (for example email). Noise Log does not send anything on its own.
Noise Log is intended for adults and is not directed at children.
