These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Life in Weeks: Memento Mori mobile application ("App") operated by App Harbour ApS. By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Not Medical Advice
Life in Weeks is a calendar and reflection tool. The life-expectancy estimate it shows is for personal reflection and motivation only. It is a rough figure derived from public, actuarial-style population averages. It is not a prediction of your lifespan, not a diagnosis, and not medical advice. Do not make health, financial, or life decisions based on it. If you have health concerns, talk to a qualified medical professional.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
Purchases and Subscriptions
The core life-in-weeks grid is free. Premium features (extra themes, shareable cards, and the optional lifestyle-adjusted estimate) can be unlocked with:
- Lifetime: a one-time purchase that unlocks premium forever. Not a subscription.
- Weekly: an auto-renewable subscription with a 3-day free trial, then billed weekly.
- Annual: an auto-renewable subscription with a 3-day free trial, then billed yearly.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings or here. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple. Use Restore Purchases in the app to restore on another device.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App for any illegal purpose, or to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble it.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. In particular, the life-expectancy estimate is an approximation based on population averages and is not guaranteed to be accurate for any individual.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, App Harbour ApS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including any reliance on a figure shown in the App.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark.
Standard EULA
Use of the App is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
