Troubleshooting
Reminders Not Showing
If you're not receiving bill reminders:
- Open Settings on your device and go to Notifications
- Find Bill Organizer and make sure notifications are enabled
- Check that Allow Notifications is turned on and your preferred alert style is selected
- Make sure Do Not Disturb or a Focus mode isn't blocking notifications
Advanced Reminders (Premium)
Premium users have access to Advanced Reminders:
- Set up to 5 reminder times per bill (e.g., 1 week, 3 days, and 1 day before)
- Get automatic follow-up reminders for overdue bills
- Take action directly from notifications—mark as paid or snooze
- Free users can set one reminder per bill at any interval
iCloud Sync Issues
If your bills aren't syncing across devices:
- Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID on all devices
- Go to Settings, tap your Apple ID, then iCloud, and ensure iCloud Drive is enabled
- Check that Bill Organizer has permission to use iCloud (Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Apps Using iCloud)
- Try toggling iCloud Drive off and on, then reopen the app
- Ensure you have an active internet connection
Household Sharing Not Working
If shared spaces aren't syncing for all members:
- All household members must be signed into iCloud with their own Apple ID
- Each member needs iCloud Drive enabled
- Make sure everyone has the latest version of the app installed
- Try closing and reopening the app to refresh the sync
Billing and Restore Purchases
If you're having trouble with your Premium subscription:
- To restore a previous purchase, go to Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases
- Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID used for the original purchase
- To manage or cancel your subscription, go to Settings on your device, tap your Apple ID, then Subscriptions
- For billing disputes or refunds, contact Apple Support directly through the App Store
Partial Payments
Bill Organizer supports partial payments. When recording a payment:
- You can enter any amount up to the full balance
- The remaining balance updates automatically
- All payments are recorded in the bill's payment history
- Once the full amount is paid, the bill is marked as complete
Subscription Information
Bill Organizer offers two Premium subscription options:
- Weekly Premium: $2.99/week with a 3-day free trial, then auto-renews weekly
- Annual Premium: $24.99/year, auto-renews yearly
Free tier includes: 1 space, 10 bills, all recurrence options (daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, custom), basic reminders, calendar view, and widgets.
Premium unlocks: Unlimited spaces and bills, household sharing, partial payments, data export, Advanced Reminders (multi-stage reminders, overdue follow-ups, quick actions from notifications), and priority support.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions).
