This policy explains exactly what data Outfit Planner uses and how. We built the app to keep your wardrobe private. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not use any third party tracking or analytics.
Your wardrobe stays on your device
The clothes you catalog, your outfits, calendar logs, tags, notes, and stats are stored locally on your device. We do not host your wardrobe on our servers and there is no account, sign up, or login.
AI cataloging and AI styling
When you choose to use AI cataloging (auto tagging your clothes) or AI styling (daily suggestions and "what to wear to" looks), the relevant clothing photos or item attributes are sent to our backend solely to perform that AI processing. They are used only to produce your result and are not stored or retained after processing. If you never use these features, no photos or item data leave your device for this purpose.
On device background removal
Removing the background from your clothing photos is done entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. Those cutouts are not uploaded for this step.
Location and weather
If you allow it, we use a coarse (approximate) location for two purposes: to fetch your local weather so daily suggestions match the conditions, and to determine whether the deals feature is available in your region. Location is optional. If you decline, the app still works; weather based suggestions fall back gracefully and the deals feature shows a not-available state.
Deals availability by region
The deals feature is available in select regions first, currently the US and UK, and is expanding. Determining availability uses your coarse region only. In other regions the feature shows a "not available in your region yet" state.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details. We may receive subscription status from Apple to unlock premium features. See Apple's privacy terms for how Apple handles payment data.
What we do not do
- We do not require an account and do not collect names, emails, or contacts (unless you email us for support).
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.
- We do not show advertising.
- We do not use third party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
Data retention
Your wardrobe is retained on your device until you delete it or the app. Photos and item attributes sent for AI processing are not retained on our servers after the response is returned.
Children's privacy
The app is rated 4+ and is a general audience utility. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You control camera, photo, and location access from your device Settings at any time. You can delete any item or your whole wardrobe in the app. To ask a question about your data, email info@appharbour.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted here with a new effective date.
