Help with scanning, subscriptions, and your account.
CoinScout reads the image you give it, so a sharper photo means a more confident identification. A few tips:
Each scan returns up to three ranked candidate identifications with a confidence percentage, a collector value range, a melt value based on today's live precious-metal spot price, and any error coins or die varieties worth checking.
Values are estimates, not a professional appraisal or an offer to buy. Coin value depends on grade and authentication. Confirm rare or error coins with a professional grader such as PCGS or NGC.
CoinScout is free for your first four scans, with no account or login required. After that, unlimited scanning is available with a subscription:
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. There is no free trial and no lifetime option. A generous daily fair-use limit, set well above any normal collector's use, applies to unlimited scanning.
You can also manage your subscriptions here.
Using a new device or reinstalled the app? Open CoinScout, go to the paywall or settings, and tap Restore Purchases to recover an active subscription tied to your Apple ID.
All payments are handled by Apple. Refund requests are made through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
