App Harbour ApS ("we," "us," or "our") operates the CoinScout: Coin Identifier mobile application (the "App"). This policy explains exactly what happens to your information when you use the App. We built CoinScout to be privacy-respecting by default: no account, no tracking, and no selling of data.
No account required
You do not need to create an account or log in to use CoinScout. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal identifier to scan a coin.
What happens when you scan a coin
When you scan a coin, the photo is sent over an encrypted connection to CoinScout's backend service. That service uses a third-party AI model provider to identify the coin. The image is processed in memory to produce your result and is not stored or retained on our servers after the response is returned to you. We do not build a profile from your photos and we do not use them to identify you.
Information we do not collect

- We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to anyone.
Live metal prices
To calculate a coin's melt value, the App uses current precious-metal spot prices retrieved from a public pricing feed. This is general market data and is not linked to you.
Technical and diagnostic information
Standard technical information (such as the data needed to route and complete a network request) may be processed transiently to operate the service. This information is used only to deliver the result and keep the service working. It is not used to identify you and is not retained to build a profile.
Subscriptions and payments
Subscriptions and all payment processing are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment details. We may receive confirmation of your subscription status from Apple so the App can unlock unlimited scanning.
Third parties
To deliver your result, your coin photo is processed by a third-party AI model provider acting on our behalf. We share only the image needed to perform the identification, and the image is not retained by us after the response. Apple processes your subscription and payment as described above. We do not share your information with anyone else except where required by law.
Children's privacy
CoinScout is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your choices
Because we do not collect personal information or maintain an account, there is no personal profile to access, correct, or delete. If you have any privacy question, contact us at the address below and we will help.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here and within the App with an updated effective date.
